Performance Drama

Every year, the Second Form and the Lower Sixth work in their Houses to create short pieces of theatre. These pieces are scripted and directed by the Sixth Form and the Second Form are the actors. The students only have 3 weeks on the project, which takes place over 7 activity sessions, so the emphasis is on having fun, being collaborative and having a go on the Denstone stage! The finished pieces were performed twice on Thursday: to the Junior School and to Parents.

The whole event was, as usual, a huge success. The plays were highly creative and original, and there was some fantastic characterisation on display. All involved thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
