Newsletter from the Head – Week 10

Dear Parents and Guardians

Exeat is finally upon us and I hope you have a chance to relax. Formal exams are now largely complete and our focus very much turns to plans for September; ensuring Denstone is as vibrant, exciting and prepared as it can be.

This week has certainly been one of huge success and I have thoroughly enjoyed so many events. The Discussion Dinner on Tuesday night with members of the Lower Sixth proved to be an entertainingly cerebral affair. Likewise, the informal concert and an evening of showcased drama from our Fourth Form pupils have been real highlights.

Amongst the highs of this week has been the appointment of future Senior Prefects for the academic year 2024-2025. Whilst we are delighted with our team, we are also conscious of the many children who will be understandably disappointed; this was a particularly strong year with so many worthwhile candidates.
