Denstone College senior cricketers were fortunate to have a lunchtime session with former England Cricketer and Yorkshire Captain, Craig White. The session was organised by Director of Cricket, Mr Simon Guy, and focussed on batting skills.
Denstone College Cricket Academy had an evening session in which pupils had access to three level 4 coaches and one level 3 coach. This is more than many county teams have available to them, and so it truly was a first class coaching session.
With coaching from Mr Simon Guy (former Yorkshire player), Craig white, Steven Kirby (former Yorkshire, Gloucestershire and Somerset player) and Andy Carr (Checkley Cricket Captain), pupils had some extremely valuable training.
