Newsletter from the Head – Week 3

Dear Parents and Guardians

The first exeat is upon us and your sons and daughters are heading home for a much needed rest. True to form, they have embraced all that the term has brought and endured the cold and icy conditions with positivity. There has been a huge amount to celebrate this week and I do urge you to follow our social media feeds for the latest updates.

College Physiotherapy

Denstone College is proud to have an affiliation with Rob Leather Physiotherapy, one of the most sought after physiotherapy services in the Midlands. A Physiotherapy service renowned for providing a personalised approach to injury rehabilitation and management. The Rob Leather Physiotherapy team has extensive experience in providing sports physiotherapy services at the highest levels of performance. The team has worked for over 15 years providing physiotherapy and sports medicine services for numerous Professional teams and organisations, such as England Cricket, Leicestershire County Cricket Club, and Leicester Tigers.

Rob Leather attends the College every Wednesday in term-time, where pupils can access the Physiotherapy Services as required - appointments are booked through Mr Boggie, ([email protected]) they are charged to the school bill at £40 per session or alternatively Rob Leather Physiotherapy is registered with most Private medical insurance companies / schemes.

Second Form Drama Festival – Thursday 2 February

A reminder that the Drama Festival will be taking place on Thursday 2 February from 7.00pm in the School Room. If you would like to book seats, please refer to the booking details on the Parent Portal.

Ski Trip March 2024

Thank you to everyone who has registered for the 2024 Ski Trip. The response for this trip has been huge and has exceeded all expectations. We wish to disappoint as few children as possible and therefore have gone back to the ski company to try and obtain more places. Once we have heard back from them, we will announce the final list. We thank you for your patience whilst we do this.
