The Fourth Form GCSE Drama students created a hilarious character based comedy for their exam show.

They made up the characters and plot which had the audience roaring with laughter, but at times holding back tears. A village vicar asked the whole community to help him to save the local roundabout from being removed by the town planners.

The pub landlord, librarian, brownie leader and a travelling Australian join the fight. Together they imagined a wild party on the roundabout and a fierce protest. They fought a forest fire and hallucinated that they were caught in a war zone. In the end they discovered a rare slug, which was a protected species, so no one could disturb its habitat and the roundabout was saved!

A totally captivating show.
