Throughout the day, pupils and staff have been attending a number of ongoing digital safety talks with Karl Hopwood, with parents attending later this evening.
Karl Hopwood works closely with children, young adults, parents and teaching staff to develop safer online management and behaviours, as well as the promotion of digital literacy and safety.
He is a member of the UK Council for Child Internet Safety (UKCCIS) and sits on the advisory board for the UK Safer Internet Centre, making him an expert in his field.
Our thanks go to Karl for a very current, informative and eye-opening day for our pupils and staff. We hope that this evening’s session for parents will be equally useful.
The information is invaluable in keeping children and vulnerable people safe when using the internet at home, in school and in public.
