Denstone College Pupils Attend Careers in HR and Talent Acquisition Seminar

It was great to welcome back OD Matthew Chambers, who works in HR and Talent Acquisition at Dell.

This is a fantastic job for anyone who likes to interact with people on a daily basis. HR positions are incredibly sought after. Job availability is ubiquitous and the convenience of working from home is becoming increasingly popular.

Matthew spoke to pupils about the importance being professional on social media, as companies can often check to see if there is anything untoward which could affect the chances candidates getting the job. He also advised pupils to join LinkedIn as this is a great site to research companies, interviewers and hiring managers. 

Matthew has new job positions starting in May which will see him travelling to the States and Europe more often. Thank you for a great talk Matthew, and we wish you luck in your new role.
