Denstone College pupils attend Careers in Virtual Reality seminar

It was great to welcome back OD Adam Gamlin to talk to our pupils about careers in the VR industry.

VR has dominated technology headlines in recent years, mostly for gaming. However its potential in the medical and mental health industry is huge.  VR is also widely used in the military, sport and education to name just a few.

Adam spoke to pupils about the projects he has worked on, which include a roller coaster simulator and post-stroke software. He went on to discuss the routes into the industry and the different areas they could explore.

Thank you to Adam who brought in some VR headsets for the pupils to try out and his offer for pupils interested, to gain work experience at his company.
