Old Denstonians
Welcome to the home of the OD Club! While we’re rich in history, our focus is all about looking forward. Our mission is simple: to support the future of Denstone College.
We connect Old Denstonians of all ages, creating a powerful network of professionals who help each other long after their time at Denstone.
We have several societies that everyone can join, and host events throughout the year. Our popular City Drinks events are always a hit, dubbed “the best kept secret”, offering a relaxed way to catch up with old friends and make new connections. It’s no secret, all are welcome, come and be a part of something special!
All Old Denstonians are encouraged to sign up to our alumni networking platform, keeping us up to date with your contact and career information so that we can remain in touch and let you know about events that you may be interested in attending. Signing up is free and just takes a few minutes.

OD Events
- 14th September 2024 – 60s reunion afternoon tea – Calling all leavers from the 50s & 60s, please join us for afternoon tea as we watch our team take on Sedbergh at rugby!
- 14th September – Hare & Hounds Cross Country – Join our OD team as we compete on Wimbledon Common this year.
- Friday 4th October – The London OC Club Annual Dinner, held at the RAF Club. A traditional event that includes a formal sit-down dinner and charming conversation.
- October – Date TBC – Birmingham City Drinks. A popular gathering for ODs getting together for a few drinks and bar snacks. All welcome.
Careers and mentoring
Our careers programme at Denstone College is a cornerstone of our commitment to student success, leveraging the extensive and diverse experience of our alumni to support current pupils and aspiring professionals. By bringing together Old Denstonians from various industries and professions, we create a robust network of mentors and advisors who offer invaluable guidance, practical advice, and industry insights. This program not only helps students navigate their career paths but also fosters real-world connections and opportunities, ensuring that they are well-prepared to enter and thrive in their chosen fields.
