Denstone College is a mixed, private, boarding and day school in Denstone, Staffordshire. Denstone College benefits from state-of-the-art facilities including a large sports hall, swimming pool, and a floodlit Astro Pitch as well as other sporting and non-sporting facilities. The facilities allow us to provide students with a full range of sporting activities within extra-curricular activities and within the curriculum.

Additionally, the outstanding school facilities are used extensively by the school and local community. We have a diverse portfolio of clubs and activities running every evening and during the weekend.

Facilities include: Floodlit Astro Turf, all-weather cricket nets, athletics track, classrooms, cricket pitch, drill hall, drive Astro turf, grass football pitch, outdoor courts, sports hall, strength and conditioning suite, swimming pool, and theatre.

Our lettings are open 6 days a week in term time with extended opening hours during school holidays. There is ample parking available onsite and our friendly staff are always available to help.

RESIDENTIAL LETTINGS

Full board residential accommodation is available during the Easter and Summer school holidays. With over 200 beds available in the College, the boarding houses offer en-suite availability, laundry facilities, common rooms, small and larger houses that easily divide for staff and children. All boarding houses offer complimentary Wi-Fi.

Residential Lettings

Denstone College were fantastic hosts for our Tigers Residential Rugby Camp. The facilities are outstanding and the staff were incredibly supportive in creating a fantastic experience for our participants and staff. We look forward to returning to Denstone College next year.

Denstone College provides state of the art sports facilities for hire on a week to week basis or for one off events.

  • Sports Hall – multi-use hall that can accommodate basketball, football, cricket (three nets), badminton, martial arts and netball as well as a full climbing wall.
  • Performance Strength & Conditioning suite – A recently opened Athletic Development Centre that offers full racks, sprint track, watt bikes and free weights.
  • Swimming Pool – 25 yard swimming pool with six lanes. Offers diving blocks and lane dividers.
  • Astro turf – two sand dressed astro turfs with one being floodlit. Both can accommodate hockey and football and the Addies floodlit pitch can also convert to tennis.
  • Tennis Courts – six outdoor courts available for hire with three courts being single lined.
  • Cricket pitches – multiple cricket pitches available for training and match day hire. Six all weather nets are also available.

Our outstanding on-site catering can offer packages at a per person rate for all events. Our room flexibility also allows for larger events to be staged for any occasion.

Denstone College provides one of the most stunning locations to celebrate your special day.  

In history, Denstone offers a combination of heritage and beautifully maintained grounds in stunning, yet understated surroundings. Our outside ‘quad’ area provides an elegant setting for your welcome drinks and pictures. The venue can then offer our unique and versatile dining hall for your wedding breakfast and reception.

We were recommended to Denstone College as a wedding venue by a friend. From the minute we looked round we knew that Denstone was the venue for us. The backdrop is spectacular and absolutely ideal for photographs. The whole feel of the venue is perfect for a wedding, the great hall is just like Hogwarts! The staff, from the events coordinator to the caterers, were so kind and helpful throughout. Nothing was too much trouble. We had the most amazing day and experience with Denstone, and we cannot recommend this hidden gem enough!
