International Showcase

On Monday night, the Denstone community came together to celebrate the rich tapestry of cultures that make our school so unique. The 2025 International Showcase featured an impressive representation of 14 countries, offering an unforgettable evening filled with vibrant sights, sounds, and flavours.

Pupils, parents and staff were treated to an array of experiences: Australian thong-throwing, traditional Thai soups and curries, fragrant Lebanese rice dishes, creamy Dutch cheeses, Chinese favourites, a Cypriot feast, and an enormous Spanish paella to name a few. The drill hall buzzed with laughter, lively chatter, and a shared sense of discovery as attendees explored the colourful displays of traditional dress, games, and fascinating cultural facts.

The word that best captures the atmosphere of the evening is pride. Pride radiated from the stand-holders as they showcased their heritage and from every guest who delighted in the opportunity to learn and celebrate Denstone's vibrant international identity.

The excitement continues to grow as students, parents, and staff eagerly begin planning for next year’s showcase. We look forward to discovering what new wonders will await us in 2026!
