Denstone College Pupils Attend Careers in the Army Seminar

Katy Clarke spoke to pupils on the varied and exciting career opportunities on offer to them in the Army.      

Pupils in Fifth and Sixth Form attended the seminar which was led by Katy, who works for the Ministry of Defence as an Army Officer Recruitment specialist.

Katy spoke to pupils in detail about the various paths as an officer which include areas as diverse as doctors, engineers, infantry and helicopter pilots.

Katy also explained to pupils about the application process, benefits and also mentioned that women could now apply for any role.

The seminar was very informative, giving our pupils a fantastic insight into what could be a challenging and active role in the Army!
