Denstone College and the Prep Remembrance Service

Remembrance Day at Denstone College is a solemn and important occasion that honours the sacrifices made by former pupils, staff, and community members from Denstone College and Smallwood Manor who served in the armed forces. 

Today, the Prep and Lower School Pupils held a ceremony to pay respects to those who lost their lives in conflicts, especially focusing on alumni who served in the World Wars.
Pupils, parents and staff gathered to reflect on the meaning of the day, listen to readings, and offer prayers. 

Denstone College's commitment to Remembrance Day reflects its values of respect, community, and service, emphasising to students the importance of remembering those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
