Ollie has been competing in Olympic Skeet for three years and was selected for the GB pathway two years ago, where he has remained in the squad. Training a minimum of three times per week, he has participated in numerous competitions across Europe, including securing third place in the Italian Championships last year in the International Shooters category.
As the youngest GB athlete selected, he is widely regarded as a future Olympic podium contender. This year, he will represent Great Britain in the Junior World Cup in Suhl, Germany, as well as the Under-18 Junior World Cup, among other prestigious events. Ollie’s talent was recognized by Andrea, one of the greatest Olympic Skeet shooters and former Head Coach for Italy, who
expressed interest in coaching him after the Paris Olympics.
Following Paris, Andrea invited Ollie to train in Italy, and after just one session, he saw immense potential, offering to coach him moving forward. With Andrea now on board and an exciting competition schedule ahead, this year presents a significant opportunity for Ollie. His selection for the Olympic Potential Programme is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and bright future in the sport.
