Staff and Pupils Attend the Forty Club Dinner

A fantastic evening at the 67th Annual Forty Club Dinner. The event was attended by Sophie, Director of Cricket, Mr Borrington and coach of the Forty Club match, Director of Hockey, Mr Falconer. 

Mr Borrington gave a speech and spoke about his time in cricket, the College and the Forty Club before proposing a toast. 

As well as receiving the regional and national award on behalf of the team and College, Sophie was awarded a medal for her all-round display. Sophie spoke at the event and thanked the Forty Club for the match and their role in supporting school cricket. She also thanked Denstone College and their coaches for their role in helping her become the player that she is. A fantastic speech from Sophie which resulted in a standing ovation. 
Well done to all the team for their part in winning the award and thank you to the Forty Club for your hospitality.
