Denstone College Continues a Sponsorship for Pathway Cricket at Staffordshire.

As we embark on 2025, Denstone College continues it's exciting partnership with Staffordshire Cricket and Staffordshire County Cricket Club. The College will serve as a shirt-sleeve sponsor for a range of county teams over the next four years, which started with the 2024 cricket season.

This sponsorship marks a historic collaboration, as it is the first partnership of its kind for Staffordshire Cricket. Denstone College’s support will extend to all junior county age group teams, the Learning & Physical Disability team, the Visually Impaired team, and the development and senior men’s and women’s teams. This comprehensive sponsorship underscores the College’s commitment to nurturing cricket talent across the region.

Strengthening an Established Relationship

Denstone College has long been a key venue for Staffordshire Cricket, hosting numerous county fixtures and training sessions for both junior and senior players. This new partnership builds upon that strong foundation and represents a shared vision for developing cricket pathways within the county.

Jason Britton, Development Director for Staffordshire Cricket, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, saying: “This partnership is the first of its kind for our county. Denstone College has been a host venue for many county fixtures and training sessions for both junior and senior cricket in recent times, and we are pleased to expand our relationship with them across our pathway. The county board and club are working more closely together both on and off the field, and the partnership with Denstone is a great example of that collaboration.”
